What do I have to do to get a legendary Old Earth Assault rifle (AK47)

being trying to grind one for weeks.... Any tips would be apperciated.

i've read that playing on very hard increases your chances of legendaries. other than that, it's random probably

Literally on very hard, still not dropping, its the same old weapons over and over again.

Sorry to say but over 550 hours of game time and i never found anything else but white old assault riffle's. No blue's no purple's and most certainly no legendary version of it. Either they did not add that gun too the tier lists or they did but the game somehow messes up and we are simply not getting these guns in anything but a standard version

Oh there's defo legendary versions of it. Its just extremely rare which is a bit silly. I have seen evidence of epic/leged of the old earth weapons

I did manage to get a legendary X01911 so they do exist.

I found 2 epic ones so far, but also no legendary yet.

I found one with Extended Magazine, Hitman +15% dmg while aiming and the other one was a Instigating + something i can't remember the second effect atm.

Weapons can have up to 3 random affixes on it, having 1 will make the weapon Rare Quality, 2 for Epic, and 3 for Legendary. These Affixes will also change the name of the item.

What i am looking for is a decent "Old Earth Shotgun". I just want to enjoy the nice pump action sound when chambering the next cartridge. I haven't found any rare, epic or legendary Advanced ones so far.

the iconic sound aside, I don't get why this wouldn't be an adapted (long tube or mag for 10 or so shells) A5 instead. The A5 was designed in 1898 and we STILL have sci-fi insisting on pumps (and, for that matter, revolver designs). Sigh. Better, could have been a street-sweeper, but that is asking for way too much.

That aside, 2 ensured sources of old earth weaponry are the mystery ship at paradise & the nasa ruinds. Otherwise, its a rare weapon asking for a rare version of it. Just getting an advanced one is a challenge, even in white.

I only found one rare one but that was one that wasn't calibrated, refined or something. It was just a basic weapon so the lowest of all. I did find a few regular Advanced ones, but never an Advanced rare, epic or legendary one.

But i already found like 4 rare old earth assault rifles and 2 epic ones. All of them Advanced.

RNG is a bit crazy i found like 3 of them in less than 2 hours. Also sometimes if you find a weapon with 2 effects on them, the next weapons you find have the same effects. The RNG works just like in Fallout 76. So it is random but not completely.

I understand its RNG but because Ive played this game for weeks, its the same old ♥♥♥♥ really...

I just want my very own legendary or even purple AK47.....
