Anyone using a Nvdia 3060 and playing Starfield?
How is the performance?
Does DLSS improve framerate?

I am using a RTX 3060 with 12 GB VRAM and running Starfield on all high settings at 1080p with zero issues. It does not have DLSS it only has FSR which seems fine even with an NVidia card. I would love for the game to have DLSS but it does not. I have played 3 hours with it running totally fine.

Thank you for the heads up. My new card is coming soon and I was curious. DLSS is coming soon.

It helps tremendously. I am terribly bottlenecked (i5-6600 and 2080ti); The DLSS beta made it playable, and I can use each DLSS setting as intended (performance or better frames).

I got this 3060 for way under $300 on Amazon. The reviews were excellent. I mostly use the computer for graphic design, illustrations and Blender and use my Switch for gaming. Anything else? What do you have?

It is fine with 12 GB RTX 3060+ i3 12100f on 1080p high settings. I didnt try beta patch yet, it may even better.

So I guess you have a 4060 or higher. I envy you. My mother is from the UK but I haven't been there in centuries.

How is Starfield on a 4xxxx series? I hear DLSS doesn't work well with it but it doesn't need to because the performance on its own is outrageously fast.

3060, i7-5820K, 32GB RAM

Playing on 1440P mix of High and Medium, getting 35 FPS most of the time.

I built my new rig around a 3060 12Gb VRAM card, with 64 Gb mobo RAM and 2Tb SSD. Starfield and every other game I play runs very well on high and ultra settings so far. As with most Bethesda games, the farther into the game I get the more things start to flake, but the graphics are holding up very well, with only very occasional noticeable glitches that are only momentary and not continuous. Lately I have been doing a lot of fast and furious melee action and the card hasn't even broken a sweat. 2K screen rez.

Thanks for that. I would love a $1500 graphic card but that seems excessive now for me. I don't expect the card to be perfect but at least better than my 2060.

Yes. Performance is excellent.

I was playing Starfield back when I was playing it anyway on a 8gb RTX 3060 Ti, got 40-60 fps steady for the most part, Lowest fps was usually in New Atlantis just due to the size and amount of npcs around. Was very playable, but this was on the Ti model, no idea how it'd be on the base 3060.
