But these are Starborn ships I have not stolen. I know doing that can open a can of bug issues with your game. Just don't do it.
Delete ship:
go into space
~
click on ship to be deleted
~
land at ship services/builder pad
switch to other ship
~
>recycleactor
~
Be sure not to click on anything else in the console mode after clicking on your unwanted ship, and make sure to make a hard save before going into space in case of strangeness.
If you don't feel like going through all that. There is a mod that lets you sell the Guardian and Frontier: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4088?tab=description
It still works too, even though it's old.
I'll have to double check. I was able to use it to sell the Frontier. Weird that it wouldn't work for the Starborn Guardian.
At least we can break them down and rebuild but they still take a ship slot.
I play pirate so need all my ship slots for captures ;)
If you want more ship slots, add this line to your startup batch file:
SetGS uSpaceshipMaximumOwnedSpaceships 100
You can replace '100' with whatever number of ships you wish to have.
I hate to get rid of ships because of the loss of slots, even when they're ships I won't use.
I won't go to 100, though; Ship switching/slots/loading seems a bit fragile at times, so baby steps.
