And yes land on the spot that says "Scanner anomoly"
There was literally no temple in the area, no scanner distortions, - nothing.
The exact marker ON the planet surface you land at says ""Scanning Anomaly"" but its just an outpost. 1xairlock square building and a 2 levelx2 outpost building with 3 solid storage crates, 1x liquid storage crate, 1xwarehouse crate and a small tent with a landing pad.
So I can only recommend installing the community patch.

If you want to install it, save your game far away, i.e. in a different star system.
OP just be aware that the patch requires the Script Extender which is another mod and if you updated your game with the Beta patch the Script Extender will not work which means your game will not work which is normal until the Script extender gets updated which it won't until the patch is made official.
btw. I never had this bug, but have often read about it. Some even said that there was no temple. it's not a game breaking bug, so it can be ignored, but it depends on the player
i haven't moved to the beta yet. But yeah I walked 2500 metres in every direction of my ship. W,NW,N,NE,E,SE,S - etc I went to every single "marked" location be it research, natural, anomaly, structure, caves - etc. literally nothing at all. No scanner distortion, and kept hitting every side of the grid where it asked if I wanted to move to a new area (which I cancelled). IT wasn't there at all.
I don't know what you want to do now. It depends on how important this is to you.
In general, I'm of the opinion that you can't get by without mods in Bethesda games and if you don't overdo it, then the community patch and some QoL inventory mods would be a good start. But you can also do a lot wrong with mods and swap one problem for another. So, anyway, good luck.
