And later there's the Magstorm. which is also shown in the purple stats in the screenshot above.

As you can see, they're both rather equal - when fully upgraded - in sustained damege, but the Microgun has the usual spin-up-time, whereas the Magstorm immediately spews ... depleted uranium, typically. On the other hand, the Microgun immediately comes with the larger magazine, and you don't have to get lucky to find one with 320 rounds capacity. Plus, Microgun uses the standard 7.77mm ammo, which costs 7Cr/Rd. Magstorm uses .50 MI Array, which costs four times as miuch...
But the Microgun is the iconic DOOM chaingun you probably want. And also will probably find way earlier... ...stuff is level-gated
Also, I'm not _that_ optimistic, that Vasco will perform well with that...
