Starfield has won the Golden Joystick's Xbox Game of the Year Award
Congratulations Starfield for winning Xbox Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards. It is a really enjoyable game with many years of space adventuring to come.

Sensible people because its the same code and game. Xbox is just a PC with a locked OS.

Indeed... But we are PC users... Not console peasants... Why would i care if there is a console version or not...?
Its not about there being a console version, its about the fact that the exact same game won an award…

The platform is irrelevant

Ah yes ageism…

These are the same kids that would consider this a role-playing game rather than what it truly is, an Action/Adventure.
Oh nevermind… ageism combined with arrogance…

Yes, the game is a crpg by definition, do you know what a crpg requires? Do you know what it consists of?

Go ahead, cite some sources, and don’t just come in here with your own personal definition of what an rpg “should be”. Prove that it “isn’t an rpg”

Age doesn’t always make you wise on every single topic

The irony being that comment "you must be new" was aimed at me lol... Im pretty sure im older and more experienced than many other users here...

Assumptions are the bane of this forum lol... Yeah im 'new' - New circa '86 lol...

It's amazing how typing words can give away a person's age. Like the kid who recently said this game was immature, but spelled kindergarten with a D when describing it.

Gardeners' World.

Telling people that this game is immature when the ESRB gave it a M17 rating is like telling people that five-year-old kids are too old for Santa.

17 years of age is as immature as it gets. They have zero life experience and think that they know everything.

You've spent over a year of your life playing football games dogg, no one cares what Boomer wisdom you have.

Ah i see... So you are saying that if Starfield won the xbox category why did it not win the PC category too...?

Could be that they only wanted 1 game to win each category...

And it also shows why awards are totally meaningless lol...

All that proves is how useless those awards are.

Regardless what the steam reviews and internet trolls say, I'm enjoying it immensely, even more so with the beta build smoothing out the graphics performance. I foresee surpassing my FO4 playtime (1200 hours) with SF (currently just under 500 hours).

Its really close to being great, I'll admit that. I'm hoping they implement a simulation game mode.

One more thing BGS can plaster on their wall of "10/10s". And then more gullible people buy this PoS. And then they notice how tedious and boring it is. And then they say "I will never buy anything from XYZ again!"
And then the next PoS comes around, and the same people buy that as well.
And the cycle repeats.
