I play on very hard mode, I don't have chameleon, I have the full stealth upgrades and health regen. I think its better than chameleon if you have rank 4 in stealth
I love the stuff modders do.
I am new to the mod scene, such a brilliant idea
for example recently fallout 4 got a 10 hour long alternative way to play the main story as part of the enclave.
modders are even making entire new games like enderal or nehrim.
I only wasted 1 point on Stealth, and I like the Chameleon effect, especially when it gets stuck "On" all the time. I think there's a quest in my quest long about Mantis, but I'm not interested in questing, so I haven't bothered doing it.
I've only followed the mandatory portion of the main quest to the point I got to throw Sarah off my ship and tell her not to come back. After that, I left The Lodge and have not returned since.
I don't plan to do any of the main quest this year, and come next year, CK2 will be released, and I won't actually be doing ANY questing or much in the line of playing, as I've too many things I want to create already.
I did the same thing with Skyrim.. bought it back in 2011. Had to get this "Steam" thing to go with it, what a complete disappointment. As soon as I was freed from the headsmen and escaped.. wherever you started at, I immediately took off into the wilderness and didn't even so much as visit White Run until late in 2013. It wasn't until some time in mid 2020 that I even climbed The Throat of the World for the first time, and to this date have still never joined the Empire or the Stormcloaks.
This one does not care what the hairless, tailless apes do. If they wipe themselves out, they will not be missed.
Some on here complain that games should not rely on modders... and I say why not.
It is the gamers who know what needs to be improved, let them make it the game they want. Many enjoy modding.
