X-Ray/Thermal Vision Effect Question

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove or disable the thermal/xray effect attached to one of the perks.

Admittedly I'm also curious about this when it comes to the cloak effect offered by another perk.

I could understand if these were mods/plugin modules/accessories you could equip as part of your suit/armour/loadout but these items tarnish the gameplay for me.

Isn't it a sight on your weapon.

It's the recon sight or other special sight that adds "marks the target".

That is an effect of the Recon Scope/Recon Laser
If you don't like it, don't use either of these.

I'm rather keen on Predator-Vision, so I use them.

Ok, thank you for the clarification everyone. From what I'd seen in videos I'd got the impression that it was a result of a perk.

There's a power that highlights everyone too...the downside, for me, is that it obscures the foreground so it often looks like they stepped out of cover when they actually did not.

Do you recall the power/perk? I swear I'd seen it but I'm yet to reinstall the game. I'm just trying to find out if there are solutions out there yet to some of the stuff that took away from the experience.

its powerful when you get used to it, but until you do get used to it you will shoot at a guy who is behind a wall and waste ammo... practice with it a bit, or take it off. There are other equally good alternatives that don't have the effect. I am not aware of it being a built in effect on any gun.

as for the power, its much easier to not use that if you pick it up. Just don't select it as your active shout, and it won't produce the effect. I don't like the space magic, and so far, the only one I will use is the free O2 refill when running around tagging POI explore missions/fun.
