But what is true that I have lag in game sometimes. I give it a wait time for maybe a minute and press ESC to get into the menu. Then back from the menu into the game again and all is fine.
Also check your installation of your steam client. It is usually NOT recommended to install Steam in /programs or /program files because Windows reserves a write protect to the folders. Then you could have save set problems.
As I also run on Asus and Nvidia, and I do NOT overclock. There is no reason in Starfield for that. This can cause trouble too.
Shut it down last night.
Downloaded and installed patch this morning.
Launched game and chose my last save from last night.
Game hasn't missed a step. Performance and graphics are outstanding.
i9-12900K, RTX 3090, SSD, Windows 11
Note: I did not mess around and validate my game files or change anything.
OP if you are using SFSE you can't use this update and that always has been the case with the Script Extender and always will be. SFSE has announced they are not updating until the patch is official which should be later this month.
