BUG All That Money Can Buy
Despite what was promised, Starfield update 1.7.29, Bethesda DOES NOT fix the "All That Money Can Buy" quest bugs.

I have retried the mission several times and it ALWAYS gets stuck at the end, specifically in the talk with Walter before taking off from Neon, as previously mentioned by other players.

I have tried the solution of using the console code "KILLALL" which initially seems to unlock it, but after taking off from Neon it still does not advance as it is supposed to do (I don't want to give spoilers) and it is also impossible for me to land on any other planet.

BUGS APPEAR TO BE AN INCREASINGLY REITERATIVE PROBLEM IN BETHESDA GAMES.

Not only did this not fix this specific issue, your also not suposed to take off before the talk with walter. You talk to him before lift off. Simply walk too the ship and board it, do not fast travel or go to copit.

Well, used the "get arrested" trick to get past the hang-up when talking to Walter, then boarded my ship. I can only jump straight to the cockpit because the hatch says "Inaccessible." My last two ships have done that (also, the only to leave the ship is to sit in the cockpit and select the "Exit Ship" button.
So, I took off from Neon. Now I'm in space but the quest still says "Take off from Neon" and I can't fast travel anywhere. I wonder if it's possible to travel between planets or stars at sub-grav-jump speeds?

It is possible but it is slow as hell plus the planet you traveled to won't load it will just be an empty sphere. There are a couple videos on YouTube of people doing this. I doubt it would solve your issue.

agree do not fast travel to ship talk to him as soon as you board

As I said at the beginning, I retried the mission in multiple ways: traveling fast, walking to the ship, talking to Walter as soon as I entered it, sitting first in the pilot's seat...

None of this solved the problem and the mission was blocked.

The only thing I do recommend is that you do not use the console trick "KIILALL" mentioned. This definitely breaks the game and forces you to reinstall it.

Same here. 490 hours in and my game is frozen. As soon as the conversation with Walter ends, all keyboard controls are locked and I cannot move, take off, or do anything. I can try to fix it with console commands but then Bethesda will stop achievement tracking. WTF. It's been a known bug for 3 months. Hit E to get off your ass, Bethesda and fix it already. I was actually enjoying the game. And right as Christmas break starts, I can't play it.

Works fine for me, always has. Reload an earlier save and try again.
Bethesda doesn't read anything here and if they did they would ignore your rude comment.

If it works great for you, and always has, why are you even in here on a discussion about the bug? Steam just made me delete most of my saves due to too much cloud space, so now I don't have any saves from before I started this damn mission. Also, my rude comment? ♥♥♥♥ you. Nobody asked for your opinion, and I did also submit a ticket directly on Bethesda's site so they WOULD read it and the apparently THOUSANDS of others they have been receiving from people for 3 months.

You had to spam at least three threads for this? That's wrong. I did have a few other suggestions for you but I don't know where to reply so good luck.

I put it on different threads so that if someone had a working solution apart from using the console to kill achievements, I would get a notice about it. Duh. If I only posted on one thread and no one ever put a solution on that one thread, then I wouldn't get the solution, now would I, genius?

Just letting you know I didn't experience this bug in the three times I've done this quest. In case you were wondering. Not sure if I should post this in the four other threads in case you miss this one. But I'll take my chances.
