I Wanna Take Off My Spacesuit :(

Why am I the only one on my Ship wearing a Space Suit?!?
Why am I the only one on a Space Station wearing a Space Suit?!?
Why am I the only one on a Breathable Planet wearing a Space Suit?!?
Why am I... Okay, I think we know where I'm going with this :).

There are LOTs of aspects of this game I Like or Love; and other aspects I can Take or Leave; but this one bugs me. I Love the fact that when I'm in a City I'm wearing my Civvies... but why aren't I... Just Like Everyone Else... Wearing Civvies when I don't need a Space Suit.

Admittedly, there are times I don't need it, and I like that it's on; but most times I'd like to remove it... without having to go into my inventory. Not to mention when I land on a Non-Breathable Planet, and the game forces me out of my ship (WHICH IS ANOTHER COMPLAINT I INTEND TO MAKE) I'm sitting on the Planet without a spacesuit... thus having to go into my inventory and put it back on :(.

In Short... If your Follower isn't wearing a SpaceSuit, then neither should the player; or, at least... it should be an On/Off Option for those who Do Like having their Suits on most of the time. Like the option Do Not Show Suit in Settlement; a second option; do not show suit if not needed.

You know you can hide your suit in breathable areas.

It's an option in your inventory. Simply activate it.



Go to suits/helmets etc. and check out the options at the bottom.

I'm using it fine and the only two known issues are bugs from Starfield itself not the mod.

Hiding the suit doesnt work in spaceship and I would love them to fix that as well without needing a mod. I usually just hotkey my suit to a favorites and take it off. If land and it punts me off or walk out and not breathable, just slap suit on. I just wish it would remove with hotkey as well.

Certain locations, like the space ship, it’ll only remove the helmet and not the space suit. Might be a bug? I only notice it getting in and out of the chair, but kinda of annoying. I want to sport my sweet Neon threads.

Spacesuit settings to manual! But whoopsies when you step out forgetting to put it on though - lol - and I've done that more than once. Sadly you don't die instantly - it should totally be a thing.

It's not a bug, its because of the wording in the options. For helmets it says "Breathable Areas" and for spacesuits it says "Settlements". I agree that they should change both to reed "Breathable Areas"

The mod actually works quite well. I've been using it since the mod released with no issues. As with most "bugs" reported by users of mods, for any game, 99% of reports are user-errors, not mod errors.

As to why you're wearing your spacesuit on board:

It has an in-built toilet. And knowing that on the other end of the grav tunnel you might not be able to leave your pilot seat...
