Can't build the armillary

Hi everyone.
I am stuck with the task of building the armillary on my ship.
I have no option to do so when I am inside my ship. When I get out, the mission pointer show me I have to get into my ship. Once inside, it shows me I have to get out of my ship.
In my cockpit, I have no option anywhere to build the armillary. I tried switching between my 2 ships, same issue.
Is there a way around it ?

Yeah, the control panel to build the armillary on your ship can be hard to find on some ships and is different for every cockpit :P

One solution is to just build it on a colony - it still counts as being completed on your ship for the sake of reaching the Unity, which is probably why you've got an objective marker outside of your ship - it's saying you have the option of building it outside :B

Look for a blank panel with a blue outline. That is the armillary screen. All ship cockpits have one.

The panel to build it on your ship is in the cockpit somewhere (varies based on cockpit style, but for the Overseer cockpit it's on the back wall). It's got a blue panel with a graphic of the armillary on it.

In all my ship, i see this panel, blank, with a blue outline, but I just can't interact with it .. I even bought a new ship to try ..

Question: did you already start building it on a colony base? Because that will cause the game to do what you're describing.

After my post, i did build an outpost, then build the armillary there. Then removed it from the outpost. Still no way to have it on one of my ships ... And after having built it on my outpost, i can't go on with the mission : "Power up the grav drive to jump to unity. Or remove the armillary to grav jump normally".
This game makes no sense

So once you got the mission that told you that, you powered up your grav drive and nothing happened?

Build it in the outpost!

Then go into your ship and up to the space!

Now fly around or jump somewhere, it will automatically jump to unity.

Do not remove it again ofc! xD

So once you got the mission that told you that, you powered up your grav drive and nothing happened?

yep. And now, i can't grav jump anymore, it says : "grav jumping is currently disabled"

Fly arround manually and choose a destiny manually from your cockpit view, not from the map.

It actually should trigger the jump somewhere.

nope, not working. Completely stuck.

I reloaded a previous save, where i did not build the armallary yet. So I built it, went to my ship, took off, power up my grav drive. Nothing happened. I managed to grav jump somewhere. Plot does not continue.
