Low space for saves warning

I just started getting warnings that I am low on space for saves so I moved a bunch of older save files to a folder outside of the Starfield folder but the warnings persist. I have over 3Tb of free space on my main drive so I am guessing that there is a file number limit or there is a new bug. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Such issues could be conected to cloud saves

I think there is a 100 saves limit.

I removed all but the 10 most recent saves from the game folder and still get the warning, guess I can try to go off line and see if the problem goes away to verify the cloud save theory.

maybe its a cloud save issue, i disabled cloud saves for the game a while back and it cleared up a few issues i was having

I did this and also felt the performance was a bit better when quick saving.

I deleted around 30 saves from the game I still kept getting the warning so I switched to local saves. This seems to have fixed it.

I'm bumping this thread to the front. Just started getting these messages, Stated while decorating the apartment in mercury Tower. I have over a 1000 saves and 3tb of space. Has anyone found a work around for this?

Steam cloud is limited. Don't use it I guess.

Bethesda save files are actually huge.
Back on PS3 they would take up most of my limited space.

Yep, this is a Steam Cloud Storage limitation, not your local storage limitation. I fixed it by deleting some of my older saves.

If you check properties, Steam only allows a limited amount of space to upload saves for a specific game.

If you want to keep using Steam Cloud then besides deleting the saves from your Documents folder try also deleting them from the in-game menu.
