Obstructed workbench?

I have been building my first outpost, and dealing with the various frustrations of learning how to place things and move them around. I built an industrial workbench, and it was working fine where I placed it (next to my exchange facility). But suddenly it's "obstructed." I built a landing pad, though that's nowhere near the workbench. But now wherever I move it, the bench is obstructed. Thanks in advance for any ideas about why this has happened or how to fix it.

Also, I'm struggling with some of the furnishing and decorating the "hab" cube. The sink seems only placeable halfway up the wall, and the toilet can't be against a wall at all. Plus, Bethesda seems to have forgotten showers (which explains why my outpost supervisor never seems to wash her face, I guess).

make a quick save then load the quick save that should clear the issue, it works for me.

As for the furniture issue, i gave up on placing anything other than work benches, bounty boards etc, and bed. The limitations imposed regarding placement etc, i found to be too restrictive.

Thanks! You're right about reloading. It helped with the obstruction issue, but the problem seems to crop up every time I return to the outpost and try to use one of my workbenches or research station. Kind of a pain having to reload each time I go there, but at least it temporarily fixes the issue. Hope they patch this problem soon.
