Good luck!
I did; there nothing in the root of C and there's no Documents directory under my username.
As for the file naming convention, shots you take are named "Photo_YYYY-MM-DD-xyzabc.png", Where YYYY is a 4 digit year, MM is the month, DD is the day and xyzabc is a numerical value that I have no idea what it means.
All of that is assuming you are taking the shots with photomode, and using the in-game photo key. If you're just taking the shots with F12/Steam, then they aren't saved by the game at all, only by Steam.
C:\Users\%username%\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\Textures\Photos
Check your starfieldcustom.ini file to see if "sResourceDataDirsFinal=" is set to anything other than absolutely nothing. That could be what is causing your issue.
Also check if your starfieldcustom.ini file has an entry for "sPhotoModeFolder=", it doesn't by default, and that could also be causing your issue.
Many thanks man, delete the 'sPhotoModeFolder' and leave the 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=' under the [General] tag fixed it; i've recovered my pho journey throug the game thanks to you.
