Inspiration for truly alien worlds - Scavengers Reign

If you want to see some fiction with truly original and alien worlds I highly recommend checking out the newly releasing animation series "Scavengers Reign" which draws clear inspiration from the works of french / belgian comic book artist Moebius.

It scratched that weird Sci Fi itch that Starfield just couldn't for me in 130 hours of playtime.
This animation series seriously has more weird and interesting stuff happening in the first 5 minutes than there is in the entire game.

Highly recommend it!

Although I wouldn't expect something quite so weird out of a game I hope the devs at Bethesda or at least mod authors would draw some inspiration from the many original sci fi works out there and create planets that actually make us wonder and gasp at their alien ecosystems.

Yeah, a lot of people say that. Personally I wouldn't say that the style is Ghibli and much more the aforementioned artist. There are similarities though.

Then again I read most comics by Giraud / Moebius and other artists in that style as a kid.

Honestly THAT alien flora and fauna, could save starfield for me. I might even buy it ) sadly even mods aren't that interesting
