I cannot complete the revelation quest because of this. That is a FAT AND UGLY BUG!!! After a long an painful fight he simply won't die and nothing happens. I can't even talk to him. I am really pissed!

Reminds me of the Miraak bug in Skyrim Dragonborn DLC. Reload a save before the fight. Before he goes aggro.

Question: Did you have to reload during this part? If so how many times? I usually draw the line at 2 autoloads, Anymore then that I will exit the game fully and restart and load my last Manual Save.

Even then I still feel like I am risking game corruption.

No, I haven't reloaded until the crawling scene. I am at the NASA museum and cannot return to the temple. Then I saved and reloaded. But it did not help. Then I quit the game, restarted and reloaded. Still the same situation. Nothing happens while the battle music is still playing. I would hate to fight him again. The game went smooth until this point. No major problems. It is first ng+. The first time I persuaded the hunter. I always sided with the emissary and have also a companion with me (Andreja, while the emissary appears to be another Andreja).

I solved it by keep shooting at him, throwing grenades, shooting and shooting until he eventually dies. Even when he is already down he still can take a LOT of damage. So, just keep shooting his head with that experimental shotgun.
