how do i move the armillary to a new ship

installed on ship
then chose "remove"
it's not in personal or ship inventory
no artifacts in inventory
what is it called/where is it?

Remove artifacts.
Remove Armillary.
Goto Outpost. Selected Build from menu.
You don't need to build one in a new ship, it automatically transfers between ships as you set them to home ship.

cannot find any artifacts or armillary in any inventory on any ship or in personal inven
does not automatically transfer to any other ship
every other ship i designate as home ship has the screen, but cannot interact with it
have to designate the orig ship as home ship again
then can install armillary again- but only in that ship

ive done a ton of variable swaps (ship change order, crew, etc.)
ships are borked
cannot even get into the narwhal i purchased unless i first reorient two of its laser turrets from facing sideways to facing forward
i think im done with this game for a year or so
