Obstructed outpost crafting bench
I have a starter outpost and have everything up and running. Got a bunch of levels and left the planet to get some sealant and adhesive to finish research on medium storage containers. When I got back to my outpost both my research station and Industrial bench constantly say "object is obstructed" no matter where I put them and i've moved them all around and away from any other object, even stuff on the ground, plain level terrain and constantly get the system message that the object is obstructed. Anyone else have this problem? if so is there a fix or work-a-round?

I had this issue in my first outpost. I haven't had it since. I think what it might be is terrain underneath but not penetrating the hab interfering but I'm not 100% on that. I tried moving the bench around in the hab but it never fixed it. Nor did deleting it and making a new one.

I haven't had the issues since though.

It happens a lot. To fix it save your game, quit the game and load your save.

No need to quit the game fully, just reloading from the save directly is fine.
Still annoying bug though

There is an obstructed bug and a build mode bug appears after arriving a outpost sometimes. It does not always happen, but is quite frequent.
Save the game.
Load the save.
Obstruction and build mode bug cleared.

I've found that you can move it away from other objects and it'll work...sometimes...I never place them up against anything on any sides and it drastically reduced the occurrence of issues (haven't had any since using that approach). Maybe I've been lucky or maybe there's a proximity issue, who know, I don't have insight into the code and I really don't want to, I have enough of my own to manage.

That particular bug does not allow you to do anything in build mode, it just sits there with the arrows circling.
