Anyone know of a single reference for ship parts that are exclusive to mfg. locations?
I've been trying to find a concise, singular list of ship parts that are ONLY available at the manufacturer's location (and not even at your own outpost Large Landing Pad), with absolutely no luck.

The information I have found is just spread randomly all over the internet, with no concise short list of just this specific information.

Short of going through the Inara site and looking at every single individual module to see which ones are limited availability, I can't find a way to just make a simple list. (And the Inara site is actually wrong on a few of the ones I do know about.)

Anyone know a web site/link that has such?

Here's what I have so far:
  • Hopetech Bridges and some large habs and hallways, only available at Hopetown
  • Nova Galactic Bridges and some large habs and hallways only available at New Homestead
  • Deimos Bridges and large habs, only available at Deimos Staryard.
  • Stroud Bridges and large habs only available at Stroud Shpyard or offices.
  • SAL 6330 and SAL 6830 Engines, available only at Stroud Shipyard
  • Hope 55 Landing Gear, available only at Hopetown
  • NG-20 Landing Gear, available only at New Homestead
  • 320CB Landing Gear, available only at Deimos Staryard

This seems to be a pretty comprehensive list:

I haven't seen one, although I stopped looking a while ago. I do find it extremely inconvenient that there's no central hub for parts. Someone's got to have a google doc with this information.

As far as I'm aware, shielded cargo is only available at the red mile and the key (I believe it's also available at your own outposts, but I don't want to start the game to check).

For the large habs, you have to visit those specific manufacturers (for some reason). You can get most parts available at your outpost, but those modules won't show up.

I believe this also applies to 'experimental' parts (Locked behind Ship Design 4) as well, but again, not certain.

Then a lot of parts are level locked, and won't show up until you reach that level requirement.

    It's truly a mess of a system.

As I already mentioned, it doesn't list which parts are NOT available at your large landing pad in a single list.

And, it's not even accurate in terms of where you can find the parts for those exclusive items. It appears they just did a global "Manufacturer X is available at ship technicians A,B,C,etc." So for those special items, the Inara site is wrong.

I haven't found one. That is one of the drawbacks to Inara and the other comprehensive one I use on Game8. We end up having to dig through one ship module at a time. But they're still the best, with Inara's sorting giving it the edge.

"SAL 6330 and SAL 6830 Engines, available only at Stroud Shipyard"

Pretty sure that isn't true as I purchased mine yesterday at Pound land.....I mean Hopetown.

Yah, my info above is just what I pulled from other sources.

I only verified that they are NOT available at my Outpost, not that they aren't available in more places than the original source indicated.
