Can't land at New Homestead

Hey, Just wanted to vent cause I believe I already know what I need to do to "rectify" the issue. I've been looking for new parts to use to modify my Roanoke class ship and I decided that I wanted to try getting a wide bridge. I bought one from Demos and had to move somethings around to get it to fit right and well, it is ok. But, I saw that Nova Galatic also has a wide bridge and I decided that I wanted to try that one. After poking around I find that I need to go to New Homestead on Titan, no problem.
I land my ship and the game spawns outside UNDER my ship. UNDER. And now I am stuck. I can move around a little, but I can not move out from underneath. My ship sits to low to the ground I guess? Can't re-board my ship, can interact with anything on the landing platform. This is pretty frustrating. I do know what I need to do, I need to reload a previous save grab a different ship (or modify my present ship) and then go to new homestead. I get that. But still, it is very frustrating. So much so that I don't think I'll play again tonight.

Happened to me once. Only once. Just use the same ship. My guess is it spawned you in before the ship so you had nothing with which to collide.
