not a very good excuse given this game is far from a simulator and tape in past games has been a form of adhesive in most of the previous games in some form

Heh, I will admit this also drives me crazy. There's vacuum tape everywhere but adhesive by itself is way harder to find. Reminds me of playing Fallout 4 where adhesive was also a precious commodity.

It's not that hard if you know where to go. There's a plant that grows on Gagarin called the Sweetwater Cactus. Gagarin is a neighboring planet in the same system as New Atlantis.

Land in the Swamp biome and walk around for a little while. I got over a hundred adhesive and sealant after about 10-15 minutes (sealant is harvested from another plant in the same area.)

It was in fallout 4. Not sure why we can't scrap loot for resources like we could in fallout.

Tape hoarding is worthless and it was literally the best part of fallout 4 right next to desk fans
