You cannot board M class ships. Look at the crew size...lol
I can deal with that crew. Looking at it now I think BGS did not code interiors for them.

I stopped trying to flank him and just face tanked long enough until I got in trouble. Boost to the side, repair, face tank.
Oh yeah the XP reward was 3750

Beat it with my PSF:

Used up about 30 repair kits, lol.
Only if it's a plot point. In the crimson fleet quest, if you side with the fleet, you capture one. But you don't get to keep it, or even fly it. But it is 'captured.'
Your screenshot may not be the same if you do not have rank 4 of scanners.
Yeah been there done that with a crew of a dozen level 90s. You would also need my freighter earlier to haul away all the loot, then take you like a week or two to sell it all to the vendors. Not much fun, rather just make it go boom, lol.

I didn't know I could scan ships like this
Honestly, bricks have more hull points, lol. Seriously my brick has about 350 more hull points than my other ship. However flying like a brick kinda sucks because playing the looping game trying to get a faster ship into view sucks and it lacks jump range in the "out rim." Bricks also have really horrible interiors that are way too mazey due to lack of control (like NMS.) That probably be my last brick because it was more of a "hey let me see how big of a freighter I can make." Plus as I noticed, anything above 10k cargo is kind of a waste, unless you are running cargo missions.
Looking at your screenshot, I would advise to think about ditching the lasers. Even on very hard 2-3 barrages of 4 particle cannons strip shields. Also those lasers are about useless in a fight with the legendary ships because none of them have shields. I think the big assumption people make is weapons have to be certain types. Weapon systems are broken into 3 categories of 12 power. You just need different models, like my PSF has 2 types of particle cannon turrets.
