Symbols on the ressource icons in the starmap
When you hover over a body in the starmap it sometimes shows what ressources the planet has. These ressource icons have little symbols on it, has anyone figured out what these symbols actually mean?

Thanks.

Rarity?

Those symbols are for the rarity of the resource. Common > Uncommon > Rare > Exotic > Unique I believe it is. The rarity for resources is also in their description so I correlated with that.

no star = common
1 star = rare
2 star = advanced
3 star = legendary/superiour

This goes for resources suits and weaponry

Yeah, that corrisponds to the difficulty I had to find 'Inonic Liquids' which has a 3 star symbol, I only found 1 place on a moon in Cheyenne where I could mine it giving me 8 of them. I have a mission to pick-up 430 and make a cargo link, go figure how long it will take me...Too bad that this moon doesn't have asteroids in orbit, their ressources should corrispond to what you find planetside (or is it just random?) And even known seller points barely have this ressource, so it's really rare.
Thank you for your inputs!

Ohw man that sukz, ive heard these type of missions are kind of bugged, ontop of the difficulty of actually doing them.

As for asteriod fields surounding planets that is a strange thing, they do not have the same minirals as you would/could find planetside, the fields often have iron and/or water with some rarer drops in some of the rocks. But basiclly you can find platium in space while the planet does not contain any at all.

Yes, that's right, thanks for the info. I have actually found these Ionic Liquids by destroying bigger asteroids in orbits where the planet doesn't have it, which indeed had 1 common ressource + sometimes 1 rare ressource; I have seen only common ressources in smaller asteroids.
