Its why I reccomend new players to speed run the main story while making sure to do barretts companion quest for the power (You can't get the quest till AFTER A high price to pay so make sure you keep him alive) He won't give the mission till around the "In their footsteps" main story mission, get to NG+, do main story again (as in NG+ you can prevent what happens in A High price to Pay) and after you get past A high price to pay THEN finally start to do side stuff and explore. Only point to higher NG+'s is just to level the powers to 10, thats it really, which you could just cheat and do that once you get to the end of main story again in your first ng+ and save the time.
Feels the whole reason NG+ even exists is because of A high price to pay, as there is no reason why you couldn't level up powers and ♥♥♥♥/starborn armor in a different way.
I did NG+ at 193 hours in. I made it to NG+4 and settled down. It doesn't take that long to get new gear, resources and money. I'm actually having more fun now with the powers that I never even bothered with in my first run.
Its somehwat nice, you get a lot stronger. Your skills and lvl are rememberd ontop of your researches. But yeah for everything else you wil have lost it all. Its a pro/con/worth thing. For me it was handy to use that NG1 to understand every mechanic the game offers and it actually made my second start a lot faster.
At some point i wil settle down on a NG+ and play propperly.
Too me the NG+ is somewhat worth it, but i can see it might not be your thing especially when you have put in so much time and effort in your creations.
the game tells you this multiple times before entering ng+
clearly you didnt listen/read
Also its a way to start a new game without losing levels or skills. When my game became corrupted after about 100 hrs, I was very happy to have the NG+ option.
We get a cool spacesuit a starborn ship and start with a fresh Frontier to work on again.
Yep you get to keep all your levels, stats and powers, the more you jump the better your suit and starship gets better stats.
(1) I've spent about 3 minutes in the ship builder so I cannot comment on what you loose in that area.
Edit: "Oh 'Hi' Krash"
also, magazine perks follow you into ng+
Do you have a favorite side quest?
Not quite the intellectual yourself jumping straight to ad hominem on a rather normal question, are you?
