Well, I think I am addicted (featuring U)
I find myself inclined to do other games, delving into Outer Wilds, DLC of Cyberpunk, and soon City Skylines 2. But, I keep wanting to try something different in Starfield and find myself now past 350 hours in NG+.

I think I have become addicted to the hilarity and awkwardness, as well as moments that are cool. I might need a group session where we all hug, but only if it is Robert Paulson.

I am testing out my big O ship, since the AI shoots only at center of mass. They rarely hit my ship, but hilariously score nothing but net with their shots.

I found my mistake is the cockpit is on the front and should be on the left or right side, to take one whole grid slot from the middle that is most hit. An L shape would be better, but I wanted to see how well the big O would do. Pretty good.

This works a lot better than the O ship. My O.M.G. U vessel.

The dialogue for NG+ is pretty entertaining and actually better, far better, than my first run.

I cannot seem to get the inventory UI mod to work, sadly. I very much would like that layout over the horrible base UI menu in the game. That is my current project.

bethesda trys to do something withh the next update, that the inventory looks cleaner
I am surprised how bare bones and lackluster their UI is, yet still bulky at the same time.

Heh. You've been plenty critical of the game, but here you are.

But yeah, there is a ship design exploit. The AI targets the center of mass on your ship. If there isn't an anything valuable there...

Mark of a good game when there is always something to discover, even after hundreds of hours. NG+ is something I haven't seen before, can't wait to play it but still hundreds to go in playthrough 1.

Indeed. Plenty to be critical about. I am considering if I want to get back into modding. It has been years, but I see a lot of fun that can be had modding Starfield.

Indeed. I am thinking of a storyline that I could create, like Jack Sparrow in space, lol. Who needs aliens when you can have the cursed! Supernatural is a fun tap into, that could use the magic in the game.

I have been building the most ugly ship, shaped like a U now. I keep running out of credits though. I might go villain, as the vendor cycle gets old after a bit. Lol

Takes a consistent 1.5 million credits to make the best C Class ship, regardless of design.

This is the way.

I’ve found too having cab up and around middle been more effective than dangling it straight out front.

Have try off to side now tho to see.

Interesting you'd say that. When I started truly exploring I was greeted with repeated POIs almost immediately. Where are you discovering new things? Are you talking about discovering new lines of dialogue in NG+?

New dialogue in NG+, and being far my sassy, since nearly everyone in the Starfield world is rude. Apparently, the future is being rude to everyone.

As for POIs, they are slightly different. Some are, where they include a little more area to discover and a couple of hidden things for quest purposes. Nothing major.

I broke the game a few times now, finding it has lower limits than I expected. I am a bit disappointed by that, but normal game play will never reach those limits. I also found the loading screens are largely not needed. They are there probably to ensure smooth play for those with less RAM or such. I am able to circumvent many loading screen areas, without being hit by the loading screen.

I think they were trying for a more seemless open world, but could not make it stable.
