Also many of the Freestar ships landed are quest markers for the smuggler package dialogue, again, those ships cant be taken landed but can be boarded in space and captured.
LIST ships can not be boarded in space ( not authorised to pilot bug ) but can be taken landed.
The DR Dewala or whatever can be boarded in space ( immediately EM grav drives before dialogue starts ) ~ This can also bug out Slaver, Eclipse so that only one ship attacks if they jump in to your system , the others will stay blue
Transport ships can be boarded in space ( try get the tier III or IV they are the best )
Tier IV seem to start appearing around level 68+
Valentine ships level 60+ are also very good, have sales value of 400K with good equipment 40 reactors etc.
Level 75 systems have higher chance of spawning better tier ships with higher level
Since I've been trying to avoid going back to the Lodge and the game doesn't give me any weaponry at the beginning of the new game + I've been berzerking through groups of enemies. I ambushed and wiped out a group of six Ecliptic mercs not too long beforehand with that axe and just now took command of a Falaca II with a sword. Melee has become fun now that I take very little damage.
Honestly it was just the thought of how absolutely *terrifying* it would be to come back on board your ship and get attacked by a faceless creature with an axe.
The weird thing is I *had* the wanted trait but got rid of it a while ago. I wonder if it's got some residual affects.
I have the guardian spacesuit. The helmet is totally opaque. Honestly it's kind of creepy.
We do need dismemberment, though.
I used to say that about pirates until they stopped attacking me. How can they complain, right?
I don't recall it being for GalBank, but I did meet an Ecliptic goon who didn't try to light me up on sight.
I even talked to him and got to use my internal neuro-amp to diplomacy my way out of being forced by him to insert his Grendel so far up his four-corners-of-contact that his duodenal sphincter clamped around the flash-hider. He has been the only jerk-merc, so far, whose eyes I haven't had to close, to place coins on the lids.
