Plus any modifiers like extra dmg while ADSing, extra dmg against humans, ignoring armor values, more dps when target is full health etc
Exactly. All that is involved. and yet, none of that is represented.
Ok, let me give the example I'm working off of. I'm not a big gamer, so I'm not that diversified. So please forgive the example. :)
7 days to die: On this game, you can hit 'C' bring up the stats on your weapon and see all the variables that are either increasing the damage or not. And it will show the TOTAL of what damage the gun is doing.
So, if damage increase is done by external factors like being humans, or ignoring armor and things like that, then I can assume that every single Grendel in the game is EXACTLY the same? there are only 4 grendels in the game? Normal, rare, epic, legendary? Other than that list all grendels in the game are the same?
And you did have a good point. sneaking does (as an example) 2.5x damage. let's see. I squat down, take aim, fire. 27pts TIMES TWO! I believe that comes out at around 60pts. compared to a 100pts shotty that takes 3 shots at point blank range.
I agree they've added a a good amount of variables to damage. However, is there anything in the game that shows the applications of the variables that are applying to the weapon beyond basic damage?
