Serious lack of vendor money
I know there are mods ( kind of ) to add money to vendors but seriously Bathesda what were you thinking?

5K on some
11K on others
72K for ship vendors

I am level 69
I can steal 8 ships via piracy, each ship sells for over 100K, ( Valentine has a 400K+ listed price at level 65+ ) then there are all the weapons from each ship I sell added to my main cargo.
Each hand weapon has a value of 4K to 12K
Just one or two weapons cleans out a standard 5K vendor for 48 hours
A standard haul can net me over 30 weapons
Many ships I have to sell for less because ship techs just do not carry the cash unless I stumble across one with 160K .

Game breaking BS from Bathesda not testing their game enough.
It should be a priority to add more money to vendors, especially mid to late game.
It is not hard to capture level 60-75 enemy ships with EM weapons if you fly a ship built for tanking and shield stripping.

Indeed, they failed that hurdle as of Fallout 3/4 for that matter, where there are canonically sentient ghouls and super mutants

Oh you have to wait for enough time to elapse.

You can try 'going to sleep' on your ship for a certain length of time. (24 hours just to be sure)
or you can
'Wait' while sitting on a chair, for a long enough time.

Other than that, completing a mission is the only gurantee that the Dealer's cash will return to its default amount.

Nope. That's for low level play.
When you have 8 ships to sell and 60K worth of gear to flip, doing a chair wait is the worst kind of workaround.
I am level 74 , touring level 75 systems on hard looking for IV rated class C ships

Second that, you sell ships for tens of thousand but your max cash for two days is 5K?

over all vendors have more than enough money, if are not lazy and feckless and will visit them all to offload stuff.

likewise it is for YOU to change your play to fit the vendor money, rather than be that feckless person who come to a forum to moan because you lack the grey matter to change to fit the economy, that throws more than enough money at you anyway.

This mod does what you want.
Even up to infinite money.

Actually you are wong and if you took the time to actually read the responses, you would be aware of that.
For instance, pirate players can only sell at The Key and Paradiso
Please walk me through how to sell, 700K worth of stolen tier III and tier IV ships at a vendor that only has 72K?
Also please walk me through how to sell the 80K - 100K worth of guns that came with those ships.
Also please walk me through how to sell the 30K of cargo from ships holds?

So yeah, you are clueless about end game content it would seem and clearly dont play as a pirate, so before you insult me, how about you L2P

I just sell survey data to Vlad. Sleep on Venus then sell more survey data. End up cleaning him out every time. Survey data can be pretty lucrative

I think we have serious problem of weapon vs ship cost. you can buy a ship which can jump between starts for about 10 rare rifles.

It's working as intended, you ansewred9 your on post, by acknowledging that you should mod it higher. ALL rpgs suffer this, it's no broken, just your ability to stop stealing for a bit until the merchants get more cash.

Thats a very time consuming work around and gets tedious real fast, the bench wait is not a fun part of play for me and we shouldn't have to do it.
The economy was not fully tested by Bathesda, only the lower levels of the game and main story it seems.
No other game have I had these issues with selling loot.

All rpgs have limits on how much cash is on hand. Definitely all Bethesda games. How old are you? And all those you listed are MMOs.

Skyrim is Bathesda and an RPG.
I am old enough to know when an economy model is broken, and Starfields is broken because end game was never tested correctly.
Nuff said, its broke

End game? My man, all game...

I mean, I enjoy what is there, for sure, don't get me wrong. But there isn't really anything there... I am kind of boggled how this took 'so much effort and so much time' to develop, when literally EVERY SINGLE piece of the game is the least, barest, minimum to consider 'working'.
Even down to the fact that apparently not a single person involved in the development actually played the game while developing. Or communicated with anyone else. Or actually put any effort in... The complete lack of the most common sense QoL in any and every single facet of the game shows...badly...
