shot a spacer in the face with Hard Target stealthed, and they just stagger and say something like oh my eyes, then they go back to fighting.
Semi-auto Beowulf is a pretty good everything gun. nice damage, and depending on how it's outfitted it could be good in every situation.
IIRC it also doesn't have much in the way of armor penetration, even with mods. It doesn't matter much with a fully cranked up headshot, but can be underwhelming against boss enemies.

warning though, there are some animals and enemies that lasers don't do well against.
and ammo for it isn't as common as beowulf ammo
