Well, there is the 8K Planets[www.nexusmods.com] mod. And a couple of other texture mods to make the Milky Way look better. That's about it.

Yeah I am ok with textures its more about lighting and extra effects, compared to other games planets feel like made of paper imo.

That's because planets aren't actually 3D objects, but merely 2D textures floating in space. Lightning doesn't play all that nice on such giant, flat wallpapers.

Well it's actually a 3D object you can fly right up to them there's even a mod that increases your flight speed and enable you to actually load into the planet like normal.

The planets and all Space are perfectly three-dimensional. You can surround its outline with the ship. And furthermore, all planetary bodies are in motion, carrying out their orbits around the Sun.

In vanilla you can already manually fly inside planets. Just takes a couple of hours. If you do so you eventually fly through the 2D texture with nothing behind it.

There's instructions on the mod page for 'Neutral LUTs' that explains how to simply edit an .ini file for blacker space, brighter stars, and less of the weird glow/bloom that permeates Bethesda's version of space.

It makes a world of difference visually. (Although it washes out the docking animations- which are already low-res and in B&W...)

Obviously if you head directly towards the planet and it is also heading towards you in its orbital direction you will pass through it, since the game is not programmed to perform manual landings. But you can make an interplanetary flight to any place where another planet is located, placing yourself parallel to it, or surrounding it and leaving it behind, and you will be able to verify that everything is in 3D, it is not in 2D. Simply upon reaching the desired location you make automatic landing and that's it.

Guess what there are no true 3D objects in the game everything is a 2D texture when you think about it what I'm saying is every planet in the system is rendered just like the planet right next to you but when you travel to the other planets the interaction prompts simple don't spawn in because the Devs didn't expect a person to fly for 7hrs to reach it.

Ill take a look thanks :) I have a mod that does something like this but it kinda makes the bloom dark instead of bright I hope this one is better;p

As simple as interacting with the automatic landing menu. Interplanetary travel is done by navigating the ship and when you arrive at the location you interact with the landing menu just as you would if you had arrived via instant travel. In the end it is always preferable to do the instant travel that lasts only two seconds, but hey, for those who like to spend several hours wasting time on interplanetary trips, there is the possibility.
