If your focus is exploration then it adds depth since it is endless places to go. They are a little repetitive but you never know what is there until you go. Some of the extreme weather worlds can be a challenge.
SF has fewer places to go but much more depth in the main stories.
ocean planet.. we have Volii alpha... and some more with a bit more land to... land on..
volcanic, ice, forest, habitable moons... deserts.. everything there.
though.. on most plenets the surface is solid... means no molten lava/magma to gaze upon... unles one finds a feature that represents this kind of volcanic activity.

1920 x 1080, depth of field off, motion blur off, game looks great.
Bought the game on 9 Oct, 2023. Zero crashes. Smooth.
