Which specific console commands disable achievements?
I'm curious about the "tm" command in particular, because I'd like to take some high quality screenshots from the dialogue camera, without having the view obstructed by the dialogue choices. Can anyone confirm if that one disables the achievements? And maybe there's a list of all the ones that do?

I had the case which I could not earn any achievements because I pushed accidentally the key for open the console and the save was label as modded after this (This was to pre-release). I only saw it after I had already over 180 hours in this save, sometimes I am just stupid.
Well, there is the workaround with the files. Dunno why they told me all I have to do is reboot. Hopefully someone out here can help me settle this

As a side note, does anyone know if rebooting Steam causes achievments to re-enable? I've been told this by Beth Support, but so far it seems it's not that simple, pretty sure it requires some workaround with the files, right?
I don't really want to mess around with the files, nor install any mods. Does anybody know if rebooting is enough?

Command related to garbage collection and statistics will not impact achievements. These are primarily for validating things like the contents of a string or integer, and for checking out how a mod-in-progress is impacting the game, as well as reviewing some of the all-the-way-behind-the-scenes mechanics. Nothing worse than what appears to be a simple mod but is really a memory leak in disguise.

Commands that affect the player, pretty much any player.command, inventory, or collectible (which includes skills and other stats) will disable.

So, if it even slightly feels like it may be a "cheat", off your achievements, so don't do it.

Simply opening the console, perhaps because you meant to use item 1 and hit ~ instead will only show you the warning message. It would have been nice to include a "Yeah, I know, now shut up" check box on that message window.

Big Fingers here always mashes the keyboard.

That's very useful, thank you. I wonder if the aforementioned "tm" command counts, but I don't wanna risk it

Just install a mod to re-enable achievements. This game, like past Bethesda games, are not stable enough to justify this sort of rule that the devs put in.
No thanks, I'd rather find out which commands I can safely use
any of them

The 'unlock' command doesn't appear to disable achievements.

OP, I just confirmed console commands tm and SLM 14 do not turn off achievements!

[Methods used to test]
To test it, I first created a backup of my saves folder.
Then I used the console commands above. (I originally needed to just do SLM 14 but thought I'd test yours too after reading through this post.)
I had a quest coming up that would give me an achievement so it was an easy way to test. I went and got a job at Ryujin Industries and got the Back to the Grind Stone achievement.

[TLDR]
I just confirmed console commands tm and SLM 14 do not turn off achievements.

[Edit]
I should add, I read though a bit of the post someone linked https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-re-enable-achievements-after-using-console-commands-in-starfield/ and learned that saves affected by console commands will have "MODDED" appear next to their save name when loading a save slot. I saw no such text so that further supports that those console commands are good to use without affecting your achievements.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
