Which specific console commands disable achievements?
I'm curious about the "tm" command in particular, because I'd like to take some high quality screenshots from the dialogue camera, without having the view obstructed by the dialogue choices. Can anyone confirm if that one disables the achievements? And maybe there's a list of all the ones that do?

Just install a mod to re-enable achievements. This game, like past Bethesda games, are not stable enough to justify this sort of rule that the devs put in.

No thanks, I'd rather find out which commands I can safely use

Any use of the console, will disable the achievements and give your savefile the suffix [MODDED]. This does not mean you cannot use the console without losing the achievements and without mods, but it does take some preparations.

Please read this, this site explains it maybe better, oké probably better, than I can:

How to Re-Enable Achievements After Using Console Commands in Starfield: https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-re-enable-achievements-after-using-console-commands-in-starfield/

edit: forgot link, sjeez

I know there are ways to mess with the files and re-enable the achievements, but I'll take a look either way, thank you.

But now that I think about it, why does it say that using SOME commands disables achievements? Maybe there are exceptions?

most things that would allow you to 'cheat' like god mode will deff do it afaik
tm may not but you would be better off just using the photo mode inside the scanner

That's a good idea, but it's nowhere near the view in the dialogue camera, with the right lighting conditions it looks amazing. They could have specified which commands interfere with achievements, given how they mention just some of them do

Has anyone tested this?

i do believe every command interrupts achievements.

Uhm, if you have the procedure to bypass/ enable the disabling of achievements, why the hesitation to try it out?

Because I don't wanna mess with the files, nor install any mods, simple as that

As a side note, does anyone know if rebooting Steam causes achievments to re-enable? I've been told this by Beth Support, but so far it seems it's not that simple, pretty sure it requires some workaround with the files, right?

As soon your save is labeled as disabled achievement you don't get any achievements anymore. No Work-a-round possible without mods.

I had the case which I could not earn any achievements because I pushed accidentally the key for open the console and the save was label as modded after this (This was to pre-release). I only saw it after I had already over 180 hours in this save, sometimes I am just stupid.
