The only terrifying thing about them is those piercingly obnoxious voices.
Imagine all the sonic screwdrivers we could find in the game! Enough to fill my starship.
P.S. Doctor who is going to be great this winter. They got a big injection of cash from Disney.
If they steer clear of injecting political and social agendas, it could be something entertaining. I'm not a big Who fan, but I know people who are.
Agreed! New showrunner, new hope!
As always great post.

Never heard of Demeggy or Spyduck and never played a single Fallout game of any kind.
Of course, you cannot visit Gallifrey, as it is time-locked in another dimension as a result of the Time War (Sorry, Sweetie, was that a spoiler?)
You are also aware that there are several actual Dr. Who games out there, right?
If you've not guessed, I've been a fan of Dr. Who since William Hartnell.
Peter Davidson remains my favorite to date, though I am not ashamed in the slightest to say I also liked Christopher Eccleston quite a bit as well. Peter really brought out The Doctor's quirkiness in a manner that really has not been captured in such a manner since.
Christopher gave us a little bit harder, little bit colder, little bit PTSD'd version of the Doctor that really fit with everything he'd been through, and yet, he still managed to preserve his "humanity" and his equally quirky sense of humor that no one else has been able to really capture. Peter Capaldi was also quite good, though it did take a little longer to get use to him, and then shortly after, he was gone.
I was not terribly fond of Jodie Whittaker, but I think that was more due to the writing and less to the character. I know I've heard the Doctor talk about being both a Father and a Mother more than once, so seeing a female in the role was refreshing, but again, hampered by the writing.
I have not seen Ncuti Gatwa in the role, as I have no TV service of any kind, and barely watch the streaming services I do have. Most of the time, if I'm watching something it's because I'm on my boat, and my choices for entertainment are a bit more limited.
So how much of a fan am I? Well, my wife and I are both Renn Faire junkies, and this past year, I went as my own version of The Doctor, while she went as The Tardis. I simply picked a somewhat gaudy surcoat, pantaloons and a lacy shirt, left a pocket-watch hang out, and carried around a Sonic Screwdriver (https://www.yourprops.com/5th-Doctor-Sonic-Screwdriver-Mk-replica-movie-prop-Doctor-Who-TV-1963-YP41269.html) while my wife sported a blue and white layered dress and a corset, in blue and white, printed with the TARDIS design on it.
I'd actually considered making a full-sized Dalek costume, complete with lights, servos and a voice synth, and I may still do that next year. We've also talked about having a fully custom home built, where the visible "house" appears to be a blue Police Box (https://iconicstudiocreations.com/tardis/). This would simply be the entrance, with a spiral staircase dressed up like the TARDIS console, leading down to a 30,000 sq. ft. basement, complete with swimming pool. I've got two estimates back from contractors already and I'm waiting for the other two to come in still.
Well, if it tell you something - each and every windows devices I had from 2010 are named after actors who played Doctor Who =) So yeah, I`m pretty much aware.
If you`ve been a fan, I wont spoil it for you, just watch the latest seasons.
As for Demeggy and Spyduck - those are creators of Doctor Who mods for Fallout series, starting from Fallout 3. Fallout New Vegas version is the best in my opinion, the best mod ever made. Very much recommend it. As you may know, Blue police box appeared in Fallout 2 as a random encounter in the wastes, so Doctor Who is partially cannon for FO universe. And with some space magic involved, I think it can fit Starfield too.
Anyway, space setting and Starborn legacy is somehow the best setting for space travel as the Doctor, considering his adventures also kinda based in towns or limited areas, game engine will create a great way to implement it.
