Bounty Mission enemy ships not spawning (spoilers)
Hello,

I have the following issue. During the quest "Overdesigned" (for getting the Kepler S or R), you get 2 optional missions: 1 to transport people (done this) and 1 to do a bounty mission. I got 2 bounty missions from the terminal, however when I am getting to where the enemies should be, in both cases, they do not spawn. This has not happened before.

The only other variable is that I am advanced on the Constellation quest line and Starborn ships have started to appear.

Do you guys also experience this issue/bug? I even went to all the planets and moons in the systems and nothing happened.

Thank you.

Hmm I can't test this as I never did the bounty missions. I only did the passengers one and a cargo one if I remember right. The cargo one counted towards the mission. I didn't do the bounty ones b/c it was all CF. I'm a member of the CF. For me they should have been for Ecliptic or something else. I'm not shooting my fellow CF members.

If you can't get the pirates to spawn then do another mission to progress the quest. At the end it won't matter you will just have to buy weapons to put on it. And you will anyways b/c the ones they will put on it will not be good ones.

My problem is that there are no bounty missions available on the terminal. I did the cargo mission first, and at that time there were two bounty missions available. After the cargo mission, I see only two more cargo missions available. I did both of those and they were replaced with two more cargo missions--no bounty missions are showing up. I tried waiting for 24 hours (several times), but still only cargo missions are showing on the terminal.
Any ideas? Some people think the quest is bugged...

Do another cargo mission. You do not have to do a bounty one. I did not do one.

I've seen exactly 1 bounty mission the first time I went to Mars. I got 200+ hrs and haven't seen one since. Did 3 cargo missions and it didn't clear the optional part of Overdesigned.

I finished the quest without doing the bounty missions (both were to destroy a ship) as they are bugged and the enemy ship does not spawn. I never got cargo missions and only did 2 people transport ones and only one counted. You can finish the Overdesigned quest without doing a doing a bounty mission, and I got the Kepler R with the C class reactor. My character was level 63 at the time.

As for the 2 bugged bounty missions and "Failed Communication" and a 4th quest with finding some "natural formation" which did not update properly (4 bugged quests in total), i closed them using this guide:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/169ix68/how_to_skip_bugged_quest_stages/#:~:text=Find%20your%20quest%20stage%20by,scroll%20up%20quite%20a%20bit

"Open console commands using the '~', then write 'sqt' to find the list of quests you currently have.

Then when you've found the quest you can't progress, you can find the quest name in the string after "Current quest". In my case, Rook meets King was as CF02. The main faction quests, I've found, are named linearly. If you're not sure then you can look at the reference and see if it's the questgiver.

Once you've done that, type "help <questname>", this gives you the code for the quest, which you can find written after "QUST: <questname>". In this case Rook Meets King is as 000192D2.

Find your quest stage by typing "sqs <questcode>". This gives you your current stage, as well as a list of all the stages in the quest. You may have to scroll up quite a bit.

Finally, pick a stage number not too far ahead of yours. E.g. if you're at 100 pick a stage that's a nice round number like 150 if its there. Type "setStage <questcode> <stagenumber>". In my case, I'd write "setStage 000192d2 300" "

Had a 5th bugged quest "Blast Zone" in Akila, to clear 6 rocks preventing homes to be built by Mr. Tate. Only thing, those 6 rocks were not rendered so nothing to clear. Again, I used the above to force complete it.
