Regret joining crimson fleet?
Just wondered if anyone else has this issue, I joined them as I liked the idea of joining them plus Sysdef seemed like ♥♥♥♥♥, but now when im doing like Pois or bounty hunts its always crimson and they're friendly. Anyone else have this issue or know a way around it? I'm thinking the only way would be just kill Crimson and get a bounty from them

Joining the Crimson Fleet does mean you lose access to most bounty quests. You can't be friends with the largest bad guys and still get paid by the good guys to kill the same bad guys.

I joined them undercover and can still do the bounties? They just count as "murder" now in the statistic since they're technically friendlies but who cares? Actually makes them much less willing to engage you, making them much easier to deal with.

That's incorrect. You can still get bounties to kill Crimson Fleet ships, they just wont be immediately hostile to you. Just target them and blow them up, and if there's no witnesses left you won't get a bounty.

Yea i had considered that but i didnt really enjoy just killing friendlies, i enjoyed the combat and such. In hindsight its my issue just wondered if i could get a bounty from crimson to make the encounters enjoyable again

Is your reading comprehension broken or is this a case of overly selective cherry picking?

I don't bother wasting my time to give a proper answer to that. Enjoy your watered down bounties.

you can if your on the ground just stealth kill them when none else can see and you dont even get any rep loss lol, still try staying undetected after until you leave that area and you wont get the lame bounty bug of , doing a job getting paid leaving then when u come back the whole area acts like you kiiled everyone lol this game is so lame in those regards lol :{

I'm holding off the crimson fleet quest until the end for all the reasons mentioned here.

It is kind of funny to land at some places the CF has raided and scoop up all the good loot for yourself, though. Not my fault nobody else in the Fleet knows how to use a digipick.

For certain factions, Starfield seems to be more restrictive with player alignment choices.

If you go whole-hog into piracy and join the Crimson Fleet, they expect you to be a loyal captain. The leader of the CF vastly prefers that you murder the "good guys" of the UC and the Freestar Collective. Ravaging LIST settlements is seen as beneficial.

To be an effective CF pirate, some flavor of Evil is necessary. Just don't prey on other CF members, because teamkilling is viewed very poorly by the boss.

If you dabble in bounty hunting as a CF pirate, either avoid marks on CF pirates, to focus your efforts on Spacers and other marks, or have enough cash on hand to pay-off any bounty that the CF puts on you.

and so on.

All of Crimson Fleet undercover quests are from going to point A, to point B, to point C, back to A, to B again...

Literally no action or gameplay, just a lot of fast travel with not a engaging storyline at all...

Am I doing something wrong here?
