You guys should play Star Citizen

Good to see that people prefer Starfield over Star Citizen.
Made this post just to see it.
I also own Star Citizen, and thank god I only spent about $50.

For me, it is not cheaper than Starfield. I got it for free. Awesome game also. Does not matter if some others do not like it. I don't play to please others. Besides, I do not play MMO's anymore.

I refuse to engage with apparent vaporware that is looking more and more like a multi-year crowd-funded retirement plan for Chris Roberts and not an attempt to actually finish developing a game.

I tried years ago, fell out of it, and never looked back. Every time I take a peek and see how it's doing, it never seems like anything has changed aside from more ships going on sale. Believe me, I've tried and I'm not trying again anytime soon.

No i wont, i mean i use to, but it is lack of many things and still being develop over time. I would rather hang out somewhere else until they finish it. I didnt care for the squadron, just like the sandbox, to do things whatever you please.

But on the other hand, you gonna ragequit once someone blow you out the sky and/or involved in a glitch/bugs. Most players doesnt really care for pvp in these days.

its not bad but ... im still waiting on the Single Player game i paid for 5 Years ago (just saying)

It's looking more and more to me like I will pass away before it's ever released. Which is a real shame.

I funded it when it first opened up for Crowd Funding on Kickstarter. No real regrets here, I know the risks of crowd funding, but it does make me kind of sad that I'm probably never going to get to play a finished version of the game.

I play Eve Online (since 2009, and yes, not through steam with my first two accounts), and i play Elite Dangerous, if Starfield could just seamlessly employ the cinematic in, warping to another system is close enough with warp gates on Eve or warping in Elite, just point the ship to the direction you're supposed to be going and viola. Eve and Elite space combat are around points of interest, you can't just warp to any point in space, and even if you try, and yes i did with Eve Online, going in one direction for some time at full normal speed, dropped a can warped to an asteroid, gate, planet, moon, asteroid belt, etc. and scanned the place i dropped a can, it's really not far from where i started. Star Citizen is not a game, its a 10-year+ running scam, there's no full game and you're already paying for ships not ingame in its current "test build". Imagine if i joined the Star Citizen hype when it started, i already have a 14 year old, and introduced her to gaming with a steam account and a 12 year old, my kids were still babies when Star Citizen hype started, my kids now have started pc gaming, yet still no Star Citizen.. LMAO...

I own Star Citizen, and was compelled to go try it again after having played Starfield - just to see how they compare since the Server Meshing update...

So, erm. Star Citizen is still a janky mess. It's constantly laggy with the same old annoying bugs and gripes. It is obviously going to need plenty more years of love and attention. Sure, it looks a bit better and the ships and flight is more complex, but (for me at least) it was virtually unplayable because of the server-side lag caused by their new meshing implementation.

I'm sure it'll be fantastic when it's finished - but side by side comparisons of that versus Starfield; Starfield wins without question.

I supported sc in the beginning, and still have the LAMP on my table. Spent over1k (probably more) on pledges, luckily was able to return that investment, even with some profit.

Recently installed it to finally have a look.

If I had to describe sc in one word, it would be "cumbersome ".
Everything is unnecessarily cumbersome in the game. Running. Flying. Interacting. Why do interior lights take a second to turn on after I flick the switch?
In the end there was no enjoyment in 2-3 hours I tried to like star citizen.

Anyone wants to buy sc backer account with email? Bunch of early days awards, bunch of interesting ships to unmelt.
