ah ok i understand and thanks for info
do you think the bug will get fixed so i can get the penthouse suite i should have gotten?
so i can build the work stations and decorate it?
i am not gonna leave anything there i just want it so i can place work stations there and decorate it and so i can look at the view from the balcony
The first thing you get is regular citizenship which lets you get the apartment. Then at the very very end of it, after you decide how terramorphs and the villain get permanently dealt with you get 'First Class' citizenship which gives you the penthouse for free.
In short you get sent to the apartment lady twice. If you did fully complete the plotline, try buying the well place and talking to her again. The penthouse is free if you're really done with anything, and the Apt cost should be cheap at that point.
You can build workstations at either place, but honestly neither one is a convenient location. They really should have put a fast travel spot to each.
About the best thing I can say about the penthouse is that it lets you realize how seamless the game actually is, since you can do a flying leap off the balcony and get all the way to your ship with a boost pack.
Exactly. The loading screens seem unnecessary. Definitely when they take 3 seconds.
That's one of the first things I did after I got the place. I looked around the rooms then while standing on the balcony I had a thought.
ah ok i understand thanks for all the info
It is confusing how the quest is broken up, you end one portion but there is still things to do to trigger the next. It does give a good indicator though when you do reach the 1st class citizen point, although I do think you have to talk to commander Tuala (sp?) to get the actual access that allows the realtor to offer it.
The game can be seamless allowing you to bypass load screen doors, this does appear to potentially break quests. As an example yesterday while in Neon doing the Rangers quest I boosted up over the platform to get to the informant guy after dealing with his quest request. When I tried to talk to him he said 3 words then just stood there blinking rapidly at me, I had to go back to the save after completing that step then go through the actual doors to get it to work fine.
