depends on your ship?
really - i had a class b ship (i stole, and refitted) before entering a lvl 20ish?
by time i was hitting higher level systems - i had a custom class c that destroyed 40-50 lvl ships easy.
i think "system level" is just a rough guide.. i've fought lvl 5s in a 40ish system.. and fought lvl 40s in a lvl 5 system. (at least on ground..
apparently they'd run away. ;)
no. you cant.
BUT - free tip - hit a few random POIs get a few level ups. save the skill ppints.
then go and try to join the vanguard - they make you do a flight simi.. - even though its a simi you get XP - AND the kills count for your pilot skills. Plus you can keep repeating it, with out truly joining... - 3-4 runs and you can max out pilot and be able to fly a class C reactor ship.
That said, just save before you jump to the system. That way if it turns out it's not a good idea, you can leave that one for later. Just like most big RPGs, quests wait for you.
which is funny - becuase if you steal a landed ship on a planet - take off and leave the outside folks alone -
they will shoot at you, as you rush the ship (you should, ship might take off - note YES somne rare times you can board a ship, have it take off and fight crew in space.. other times you die in the landing bay...)
BUT - they always seem to be there when i've gone back.
(side note - i've stolen and registered like 30 at least ships. my char is kind of a ship-klepto)
ah.. "A terrormorph" good times.
but really though - you can still go back and redo the idk training simis? as much as you want. no limit. VERY handy to level up some skills. - even at lvl 46? and getting ready to finish and move on to NG+ - it's still the best way to get ship kills/damage or the other stuff leveling skills needs.
(plus like zero dmg, so no repair fees or what ever.
I was easily doing such planets at your level and had no problem, in fact they are good for larger exp.
They arent talking about the red dots but the level markers for the systems and 75 is red.
