Argon is a corrosive gas?
I should mail a periodic table of the elements to Bethesda HQ.

But is it purely argon coming out in gaseous form?

Now you made me think of another mod idea.
Space driller handling those wells of gasses in space.

Where you have to place your well head on a stubborn vent.
Did you do your math and plumbing to spec's or did you cut corners?

Better man it with the right help or ...BOOM!

while you're at it remind them what missing elements exist on the very KNOWN worlds within our solar system. i went looking for "Pluto's Heart" which i think is rather romantic... only to find out that the primary element forming the massive glacier on Pluto isnt even part of the extractible resoruces there... not to meantion, the Heart is practically non-existent considering all the real universe photos of it on the internet.

"Pluto is always hiding its heart from Charon in their eternal tidally locked embrace." very poetic.

I like the idea of being able to cap and tap those gas vents if they are within some radius of your outpost.

good idea but first you need to make these vents persistent. noticed that they change position sometimes at my moon base

Pluto's Heart should quite obviously be made of Plutonium.

that was such an obviously missed opportunity. maybe its a planned DLC because it really is so obvious, they may intend to hold it back so people will buy that DLC.

Yea, I noticed that too. Maybe the concept of what a noble gas is isn't as wide-spread anymore as it was when I went to school...

Probably the same group of people who labeled Alkanes as inorganic. Not game breaking, but good science fiction should be at least somewhat rooted in reality.

I admit, I totaly missed that one. But yea, alkenes are organic compounds.
I'm no chemists, are there any chemical compounds containing carbon that aren't classified as organic compounds?

Send them a biology book, too.

Yes, but only for historical reasons as compounds like CO, CO2, CN- were all being played with before the organic branch really took off. For all intents and purposes, all of these carbon compounds are organic, without exception.

It is, it's called argon, one whiff and you are gone.
I'll let myself out.

Yeh! That got me too.

Am I the only one who's annoyed over the fact that we can harvest from flora and dead fauna with the scanner on, but not from seeps and gas vents? It's just one of several little obnoxious gripes I have with the game...

Still somehow, I'm enjoying the game overall, but several aspects make me think of that televangelist preacher going: why? Why? WHY?! WhY?!!?!?
