Need a harder difficulty setting
This is by far my favorite game right now, just as Fallout New Vegas was my favorite game fore this one.

The ONLY complaint i have after over 100 hours is I (and many others I'm sure) would absolutely LOVE it if there was harder difficulty settings. The very hard setting is not very hard at all for anyone with solid FPS skills.

Please add an Extra Hard and Violent difficulty or something. ASAP. I would enjoy this game even more if there was more difficulty to the battles and I actually had a reason to quicksave often.

Those who don't like harder difficulties wont be affected at all, and those who would enjoy a bit of a challenge will be incredibly excited. It would't really take that much effort to add in two more difficulty levels to make it more challenging would it?

Please Bethesda! PLEASE! Thank you, I love you. Cuddles later ;). I mean, ill be playing Starfield all night like normal =)

There will probably be a survival mode added later but otherwise you'll have to wait for mods or change the damage levels yourself.

Also my time on Bethesda games, before Starfield, have been on my PS4. I finally upgraded and got a super awesome PC to game on the PC.

Anyways, PLEASE MAKE A VERY HARD AND VIOLENT DIFFICULTY OR SOMETHING LIKE IT ASAP.

Love you still Bethesda, more cuddles later XoXo

so i play on Very Hard and im loving it but i can see how with skills it will become too easy later on.

the difficulty scale was clearly metered around a neutral point between those with and without combat skill point investment. combat skills make the combat game easier but if you play the tech or social routs with less spent in ship and fighting skills the game remains very challenging in the combat areas. i think the devs opted to try NOT to force the players down a narrow path. this does mean that people with very specialized playstyles will have a little bit but not ALL of the things they like but other generalist playstyles will have a more even experience.

my last "real" BGS game was Skyrim and because the Bow play was so good and skills would progress automatically in that game as apposed to "More Purposefully" in Starfield, by time i was level 10 trying to switch to leveling up magic or swords or what not turned into a drastic slog compared to the ease of my bow skill by that point. i think the devs sought to solve for this in later games and the newest example is how Starfield does it today.

I just want the enemies to be more difficult. Im lvl 40 on a lvl 65 planet and its a cake walk on the hardest difficulty. I love this game, but it really needs some harder difficulty settings

i dont like using mods. They just need to add it, it can't be hard really considering the team they have.

Fallout 4 had it by default. I don't know why the hell they didn't inculde it at launch in Starfield. However I do wish they won't do something stupid like remove the ability to fast travel.

There's a mod on Nexus that changes some .ini stuff to make things harder, pretty simple to add to the game yourself using the ingame console as well.
These console commands make their shots hit way harder and they use cover a lot more.
setgs fDiffMultHPToPCVH 5.00 setgs fGetHitPainMult 2.5 setgs fCombatCoverAttackerSuppressedTimeMax 25 setgs fCombatCoverAttackChanceAttackerSuppressedPenalty 0.75 setgs fCombatCoverFlankAttackerSuppressedPenalty 0.65

It's the only option you will have unless they release paid DLC for "survival" like they did for Skyrim.

Tell me you are a late fallout 4 player without telling me. Survival came a year after release
