Remove Armillary Issue

Good day folks,

I'm at the One Giant Leap mission and I don't want to start a new game plus yet, so I need to remove the armillary. Unfortunately, I did not know that and switched ships in a system with no ship services.

Now I'm trapped here and can't grav jump and I can't remove the armillary since it's in my old ship?

Anyone experience this and find a way around it?

it should have move to you new ship, just need to find the control for it.

there should be small panel somewhere for it, usually not far from the cargo panel

Unfortunately not, it doesn't move to the new ship unless you buy it from a shipyard. Mine was one of the free quest reward ships. I had to load a much earlier save file to fix this :(

actually it should move to the new ship anytime you buy, swap, or edit a ship, at least all my loot does
except some of the special boxes that "may" error like display cases that some have reported error with - i have swapped ships like this myself twice
Every ship has an armillary afaik, even the starter that cant do the story line missions has one

Make an outpost lander if you can, and change ships there.

Just learned you can go into the Unity go back to your universe and then go in later when you want. So you don’t have to reload a previous save if you prefer this method
