Starfield Is The Best Game OF ALL TIME
From the moment Starfield was teased, gamers everywhere held their collective breath. Bethesda Game Studios, already acclaimed for their world-building prowess in series like Elder Scrolls and Fallout, promised us the cosmos. And did they deliver? They certainly did, and in more ways than one might expect.

Immediately, what struck me was the diversity of Starfield's universe, both in terms of its in-game ecosystems and character designs. The game breaks traditional molds by embracing characters of various ethnic backgrounds, such as Black and Asian characters, and does not shy away from displaying a range of body types. It's refreshing to see avatars that reflect more of humanity’s spectrum, and it was a particular delight for many, including myself, to see representation for larger body types. Starfield doesn't just take us to new worlds; it celebrates the diverse tapestry of our own.

Exploring the vast reaches of space in Starfield is an experience unto itself. There's an unmistakable thrill in discovering new planets, each with their unique challenges, ecosystems, and treasures. Every choice you make, from your spacecraft's engineering to how you interact with the cosmos, feels weighty and consequential. It's evident that Bethesda learned from their previous games, streamlining mechanics while adding layers of depth, making the exploration both intuitive and deeply engaging.

But space isn’t just about stars and spaceships; it's about the people that inhabit these vast expanses. And Starfield stands out with its cast of strong, powerful women. They're not just side characters or plot devices; they’re central figures in the narrative, with intricate backstories, motivations, and roles in the universe. They command respect, whether they're leading rebellions, captaining starships, or unraveling the mysteries of ancient civilizations. This is a game that not only recognizes the power of women but celebrates it, making it an inspiring experience for all players.

Starfield is more than just another space game. It's a celebration of diversity, exploration, and the infinite possibilities of the universe. It showcases the best of Bethesda's game-making expertise, refined through years of experience, while boldly stepping into new territories. It's a journey worth taking, filled with stars, stories, and strength. If the universe is vast and unknown, Starfield makes it feel a bit more like home.

While I don't think of it as a "space exploration" game, I do think my expectations were pleased. It's not the best space game ever, but I do think it's the best Bethesda game to date. 90% of space is wasteland rocks anyway, so I'm okay with my 1000 barren planets lol

You are entitled to your opinion - but my review reflects my genuine thoughts and experiences with the Starfield thus far. If you dislike the game please go elsewhere.

Seriously though, it's not the best game of all time in it's current form.. I reckon with further DLC, some fixes, updates and the modding community it could be a great game.

I'm still having fun with it, but Skyrim set the standard that Bethesda unfortunately will always have to live up to.

A nice piece of fiction. :)

Great games have great music.

This game has NO music.

Great games don't have bugs.

This game is absolutely riddled with them.

Great games have great characters and storytelling.

This game's story and characters are great... by Bethesda's standards.
Which are pretty damn low by industry standards.

Only if you like the genre. And also anticipate mods.

As we have seen a lot of people where confused about what type of game Starfield was, and were expecting ED2 with some ground combat. Instead they got, what everyone who had played Bethesda games before expected, Fallout5 in the future with some space travel thrown in.

It won't be long before someone comes out with a better game - hoping.

I don't know if I would say the best of all time, but I am having a lot of fun playing it.

Great games do have bugs, just not enough to break enjoyable experience.

Are they are really better than Sheogorath from Shivering Isles though?

While I think OP is over reaching I still love the game.

There is music, have you tried turning your volume up?

I've personally had very few bugs in my 200 hours of playing. For a game of this size that is very good.

Strange, I have ingame music all the time, very few bugs, really interesting charcters and great storytelling.
I guess you are that kind of gamer who play the game for 1 hour then refund it and thinks you are an expert.

This game has NO music. - The first time I play any game I turn off the music and never turn it back on. So I have no idea how good the music is.

Great games don't have bugs. - All software has bugs, including games - 30 years of programming experience.

This game is absolutely riddled with them. - I have found hardly any, but then my hardware easily satisfies the recommended requirements. I suggest upgrading hardware.

Great games have great characters and storytelling. - That's how you know Starfield is a great game.

I actually like a lot of the music - some of it is quite poignant and emotional. There's more of an ambient, transitional feel to the music in this game, like it serves as some kind of atmospheric background rather than produce catchy tunes in the same way Jeremy Soule in Skyrim did. I had the music audio turned off at one point because I was building and it was getting a little repetitive, but then when I forgot to turn it back on again and was doing a quest I was thinking.. boy this is dull. Then I realised it was because there was no accompanying background music.

It's a bit like that movie Jaws where all the actors and crew thought it would be a really dull movie... UNTIL that iconic score was written which lifted it to a whole new level. Music can have a powerful effect in movies (and video games).

Its great yes. But there are also other even greater games out there. Like for example Midtown Madness 2.
