Besides that, in 99% of the games you can not kill characters that are important to the story. So why this expectation? I see this question pop up every once in a while and it makes no sense.
Ex-coder, ask me how i know. Never trust "Honest" Todd
I don't. I finished it 4 times and I am done with it :) I don't have hangups with older games which imho is a healthy attitude.
I played BG3 and that is not true. Entire questlines can go up in smoke if you kill the wrong person.
Starfield is pretty lazy in this regard (compared to other rpg who react to certain player caused circumstances ... like Gothic from 2001 for example)
I like Starfield. I don't get the hate for it. I spent like 20 hours just exploring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kreet, this game is massive.
Not sure if that was also possible in OW. I don't think so. Then again, I was disappointed by that game in general. I found it to be incredibly boring and lacking way too much stuff like interesting armors and weapons. And the whole corporations are bad mojo just did not vibe with me at all.
"With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created."
Brilliant!
