Benzen and Argon

How can i take this? I can't extract it no matter how many times i try.

You have to place an extractor on a 'field' that's visible on the ground, not the little geyser spouts that are spewing it out.

turn off your handscanner, its harvested by pressing f

Some ressources cannot be mined (using laser cutter) but just picked up (often it's a conic pile instead of a deposit ore).
You have to switch off your scanner to harvest (the same probelm apprear with strongboxes !). It's not ergonomic at all !

Well as a quick fix go buy it from a merchant in a space port .
First find a planet with benzen and or argon .
Land on the part of the planet that shows on the scan where it will be .
Run around on the planet away from your ship press F then scan all the resources .
press R to place an outpost but don't , you will see it says something like the resources are h20 , benzene , argon .
then place your outpost .
press v it will look down on the area then choose a mining rig , move your mouse toward you or away to zoom or raise higher for better view .
with your benzene or argon mining rig even if you don t have resources to make it move it around the area .
The coloured areas will show where you can place it , if you can t see where to place it move the outpost around again or delete it by going to name it but hold R then start again .
Once you have found an area power it with wind or solar .
you can add wires but its mainly for keeping things running further away from the power source you choose.
