Is there a fix to the Audio skips and stuttering?
I've got a 3070 and I constantly have stuttering where it will freeze for like 2 to 5 seconds and whenever i enter dialogue the audio will not play for like 10 seconds. I am trying to run it at medium graphics and i am just not sure if there are any fixes

Are you using motherboard sound, a sound card, or routing the sound through the video card?

This just started happening for me. I think it's a file size thing. Having a bunch of saves also makes the game stutter. Maybe it's a similar thing so try deleting some saves.

Is the game installed onto a SSD or the hard drive? For the game to work, it needs to be installed on the SSD.

Using an SSD drive fixed all of those issues for me.

Yeah it's a mod called disk cache enabler on nexus. Don't listen to any of these people claiming you need an ssd, complete nonsense. Bethesda chose to screw their game up with a stupid decision that has been fixed by a modder.

It is literally in the requirements.

Doesn't mean anything whatsoever.

I've already given the correct answer to the problem. Not here to have a conversation or argue with anyone about it. Disk cache enabler, nexus, look it up, no ssd required.

It means that if you don't meet the minimum spec, then you're going to have a hard time playing. You'll have issues like abysmal framerates, loading times, and audio issues.

Just because you have a mid-range GPU that is relatively recent doesn't mean you have a decent system. High load games like this or 7 Days will demand a lot from your core hardware. Games like Ark, or CyberPunk only care about your GPU.
