Outposts Ressources by Cargolink
So I would like to establish kind of a main Base which should be provided with all Ressources from my other Outposts. Because Iam limited by 6 Cargolinks for my main Base and they can only have a 1:1 connection AND sending multiple Ressources in one Cargolink leads to an overstocking Output Containers Iam doomed to only supply my main Base with only a total of 6 additional Ressources from other Outposts, or am I missing something?

I dont know why they just not made it like the caravans in FO4. This Cargolink System totally kills my Motivation building Outposts.

You need to up your skills in the science. It’s at the bottom and it allows you to build more of the transfer landing pads as well as much better bigger storage containers.

You can also build the work benches and what not and mass produce stuff to eat up a lot of the resources that will just keep coming. Get exp and money/materials for upgrades

I am also stumbling my way through base building...

Currrently I have a home base receiving a bunch of resources with only two pads.
Trick seems to be feeder bases (feed themselves before sending to home base),

So planet A has three sites generating 6 resources but only 5 landing pads.
Planet A has one site with three pads - two off those pads get resources from other two sites (1 pad each sites) and then feed the third pad sending the resources back to home base.

System B has same set up - multiple sites feeding one site and that site has one inter system pad that sends its resources to home base.

I am currently looking for two resources - when found - they will probably get sent to Planet A (not to the three pad site but to a one site - so in turn they can feed into the the pad sending resources to the three site location).

Issues - finding base sites with at least two resources (some have three), figuring out how to get He3 fuel to inter system pads, connecting pads to correct resource out/in boxes, storage at main base, loading your ship with correct resources/tools to expand network and no I have yet to figure out production selling/storage off produced goods...

As said FO4 Caravan system was kit easier,,,

Yes but I am limited to 6 Cargolinks in total for my Homebase. And every Cargolink should only transport 1 Ressource due to overstocking Problems in the Outputbox in the receiving System.

They need to change containers so you can limit which resource that can go to it and a way to auto 'delete' any extra resources so you do not create bottle necks when transferring more then one resource of the same type (like 2 solids etc)

Here's the thing, you need to manufacture with a fabricator to make money. The fabricator doesn't need to have resource links into it to draw from the base. So even if your storage is a jumbled mess, it's only really a problem if you are trying to bulk sell resources.

Crafting is the same. It just pulls everything the bench needs from global base inventory.
