Game crashed and can't load back into save
Game crashes when loading into save..

So I have had no issues so far, 33 hours into the game, got arrested for contraband and started a side quest for spying or something on the crimson fleet, last thing I did was talking to a lady at a prison and I guess I opened the inventory at the same time as the game saved and now it is broken, can't load in and the game just crashes..
Anyone know a solution?

Load an older save.

Look for the Game Save Location on your PC ( If you are playing on the PC ), & delete the Recent Save ) Disable Cloud first or it will restore it when you try to run the game.

Backup your Saves first just incase you wanna be safe with deleting the wrong Save.

If the game does Load to the Staring Screen then yeah , load a previous Auto Save File or Manual Save File ( Look at the Time stamp of the save File before loading )

This, and.. lookup how to disable autosaves in Bethesda games. It's an easy ini tweak that will save you headaches on all their titles.

Nice Congrats on getting the game to work once again. And make sure to increase the Auto Save Timer from default to something to your liking, that way this won't happen to you again.

Modifying the game files "May or May Not" cause issues later, i tend to avoid doing such things as to prevent things from going wrong down the road.

But it's up to the user if they wanna do so on their end..

Or save your ass.
If your game just CTDs, the last autosave is often very usefull.
