Note that I didn't take the time to bother looking up the specs for the Steam deck when posting this.
nobody is put out any "info" for you as there's nothing to put out
The Deck can run a surprising amount of games, likely in part because of the reduced display requirements. It wouldn't surprise me if it could handle Starfield requirements wise with a little goosing and love.
MINIMUM Hardware Spec for Starfield
OS: Windows 10 version 21H1 (10.0.19043)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 125 GB available space
Steam Deck
OS: Linux Arch custom (FAIL)
Processor: Zen 2 4c/8t, 2.4-3.5GHz (up to 448 GFlops FP32) (maybe pass?)
Memory: 16 GB (PASS)
Graphics: 8 RDNA 2 CUs, 1.0-1.6GHz (up to 1.6 TFlops FP32) - loosely equivalent in power to an Nvidia GTX 1050 or GTX 950- (FAIL)
DirectX: (FAIL)
Storage: 256 GB (pass), but you lose half your drive.
Playable, but may require some tweaking to run smooth as butter.
It runs just fine on my old Acer laptop with an i7-7700 and a 1070 as long as I don't expect higher than 30FPS on average.
With 720p at 50% render scale
ButTerY sMOotH.
Meanwhile Cyverpunk runs at 45FPS .
Protip: Use Steam Deck Essentials[www.nexusmods.com] for even better performance.
